Have you experimented with different banjo tunings? If so, could share some that you thought were cool
of course, to get music out of one, you have to use different ones. but the ones i work out of are pretty similar to the ones the others use. drop c, double c, d, and sawmill. there's a lifetime of study in just that. there are a few others. but sometimes i try to get those types of sounds out of regular tuning. on a show, once you get in pretty good tune, it's really hard for me to retune the banjo. i'm not super good at that, some guys are great at it. it's hard enough for me to get it right the first time.
