Do you tinker with your banjos much, or just find one you like and stick with it?
i have to work on them a fair amount because of traveling a lot. that changes how they are set up so i kinda gotta mess with them. but yeah i get a banjo i like and stay with it. but it takes adjustment to keep it playing good.
At what age did you begin to play the banjo? With a lot of practice, patience I hope to learn to play a song people will recognize- with a miracle I hope to be able to play with someone as good as you and be proud of what I have accomplished-I have Parkinson's but this is a dream I hope will help me fight it with.Danny Barnes responded on 02/14/2014 Next question
Hi Danny. I have a question about pick hand training. I have been playing the banjo now for about 8 years and the muscles in my forearm have always tired after about 5 minutes of playing. I can play for no longer and it feels like it is seriously holding me back as it restricts the amount of time I can practice. Any pointers, exercises or advice you could give on how to deal with this would be much appreciated.
