Who was the first bluegrass performer you ever saw?
well the first bluegrass performer with a capital "B" that i saw to the best of my recollection would have been ralph stanley with curly ray cline in the 70's at a festival in texas. i may have seen monroe first but i think it was ralph stanley. i seen john hardtford, string bean and grandpa jones much earlier than that, but i don't reckon they are really bluegrass with a capital "B" like i think you are mentioning here. all this was before i had a driver's license.
When will you play in AZ again? It's hotter than a witches tittie drenched in habanero sauce this time of year...but the banjo would still sound good!Danny Barnes responded on 07/15/2014 Next question
We all know that you fully embrace current sonic technology to create your unique music, but what kinds of drawbacks do you encounter amalgamating traditional instruments with electronic machinery? Do problems ever arise affecting your live performances and how do you handle malfunctions so that you are not completely reliant on the technology?Danny Barnes responded on 07/27/2014
