I live in Bellingham, WA and heard one of your tunes on our local college station (KUGS- Western Washington University). Great sound!!
To make a long story short, I told my wife that I wanted to see if you might be in this area any time soon. Lo and behold, I see you are scheduled to be in Bellingham in January at a workshop.
I would love to meet you. I was born and raised in Temple, TX. Born at S&W in February 1964. I am a little familiar with bad livers and have attended NWSS in the past.
I look forward to hearing from you and learning how we can connect and I can assist you with any needs that you might have while you are in Bellingham.
Take care and keep me posted. Peace,
thank you. i'll see you at the workshop.
I just saw you at the Cactus Cafe with Wood and Wire. I was very impressed during your performance when you started singing "scat" along with your banjo riffs. How did you get the idea for that?Danny Barnes responded on 12/19/2015 Next question
hey man, at some point durin yer set at the NWSS in 08 (with Bill Fris, awesome set, very cool) you said that all the sheet music would be available after the show/at the merch table or something. i'm guessin it was mostly just a joke, but have you ever released any sheet music for your stuff with mr frisell or your own stuff? if so, where might i find it online? if not, maybe you could at some point. http://i.imgur.com/PFShYoG.gifDanny Barnes responded on 12/19/2015
